Another part of our estimate process is learning what you really want to achieve on your property. Often times we’ll visit a client who just had their driveway done and only a few years later are looking to add a walkway, patio or other adjacent asphalt. Had their initial contractor discussed these other options, the clients could have saved hundreds and even thousands having the work done in one pass. Other contractors will install a driveway and intentionally not discuss other options, just to send postcards or make calls to offer them the following year. This means they get to have their crew on site two times, costing the clients double the money. This practice is unfortunate and we do our best to discuss any and all options with you during our initial visit. We prefer to make additional money from our clients giving us great referrals, not by making “more work for ourselves.”
